CenturyTel Email Servers down?

Anyone else having an issue sending mail TO centurytel.net users?

It appears that carrierzone.com hosts CenturyTel.net email accounts.

All three of their MX servers fail to respond:

Getting MX record for centurytel.net (from local DNS server, may be cached)... Got it!

Host Preference IP(s) [Country]
mx1c35.carrierzone.com. 10 209.235.147.38 [US]
mx2c35.carrierzone.com. 100 209.235.147.39 [US]

Step 1: Try connecting to the following mailserver:
mx1c35.carrierzone.com. - 209.235.147.38

Step 3: If unsuccessful in step 2, try connecting to the following mailserver:
mx3c35.carrierzone.com. - 209.235.147.40

Step 4: If unsuccessful in step 3, try connecting to the following mailserver:
mx4c35.carrierzone.com. - 209.235.147.41

Step 5: If still unsuccessful, queue the E-mail for later delivery.

Trying to connect to all mailservers:

mx1c35.carrierzone.com. - 209.235.147.38 [Could not connect: Could not receive data: Operation timed out.]
[Note that if your mailserver takes over 30 seconds to respond, our test will timeout, even though real mailservers will wait longer]

mx2c35.carrierzone.com. - 209.235.147.39 [Could not connect: Could not receive data: Operation timed out.]
[Note that if your mailserver takes over 30 seconds to respond, our test will timeout, even though real mailservers will wait longer]

mx3c35.carrierzone.com. - 209.235.147.40 [Could not connect: Could not receive data: Operation timed out.]
[Note that if your mailserver takes over 30 seconds to respond, our test will timeout, even though real mailservers will wait longer]

mx4c35.carrierzone.com. - 209.235.147.41 [Could not connect: Could not receive data: Operation timed out.]
[Note that if your mailserver takes over 30 seconds to respond, our test will timeout, even though real mailservers will wait longer]

Server's don't appear to respond to ICMP requests either.

Oregon

@centurytel.net

Had a problem earlier today. Did an online "chat" with CT. That was a waste of time (they wanted me to change all of my email server names!!). Anyway, called the 800 number and they have a message there that they are currently experiencing email problems and to please be patient.....
