It's 20 bucks and in stock at the Apple Store. But if your MacBook is EFI32, you are stuck with Lion. ML won't install. To tell, open terminal and type
ioreg -l -p IODeviceTree | grep firmware-abi
If it reports EFI64, yer good. |

Same here... I skipped lion on my work machines, went from 10.6 o 10.8 directly... 10.8 behaves much better.
