Problem is the hd dvr is included in their package as is the hd fee. They have been on comcast/att/tci/dimension since the 80s. My dad is at his whits end and about to pull the plug and just put up an antenna. |

He told you he's ready to cancel and put up an antenna. Has he told Comcast? Confront them with that information and chances are, your problem will be solved quickly. |

Yeah pretty much that, I would not be surprised at all if you just called them, ask to speak to retentions (or i'm sure even just billing would be able to resolve it for you, if not then ask to be xferred), explain what's going on and if anything, they will fix the error for you and credit you with some free movies or a credit on your account for the trouble. I am on the triple play premiere and I get the first box for free so assuming we are on the same plan, then yes it SHOULD be free, any additional boxes would have a charge though. |
