Call the local airlines, and explain the situation with the booking agent. You may not get the best seats on the plane, but you might be able to get a discount.

I called ... no discount :/

BUT I am sure a few few do have something ...

BUT probably hoops (death certificate etc... ) and things needed are hard to supply so quickly ...
