Re: Windstream Run-Around Well, after about a week of getting nowhere with anyone I called WS back today to order "high speed internet" again. The guy was really nice and polite told me they would be sending a router and that it was a plug and play type thing and my services would be up and running on the 8th. I guess I'll wait and see if they cancel this order like they did the other one and I would just about bet they will, and not even tell me. One can only hope they will send a tech out to speak to me this time because someone is going to show me why I can't get it this time. Everybody keep their fingers crossed for me....
Why even bother? If it goes through, you'll get maybe 1mbit of the service you pay for (if you are lucky) and never have hope of a fix.
