 | [Speed] [Chicago-North Side] Speed very slow at peak hours Hey-
I seem to be having pretty bad downstream speed issues on my 25/2 service... particularly nights and on weekends.
Connected directly to the modem, even after power cycle, I can't get much over 3Mbps down tonight. This seems to be happening pretty frequently to us these days, and I was wondering if something could be done.
My router is a Scientific Atlanta 2100 My encoded Mac is 82acc989cb15ae83fbe38962118b800e9e9911b1
Thanks in advance! |

 | No problems the rest of the week. But it's back down tonight. Getting down speeds of around 5 Mbps on average. Is the network in my area just overloaded? |

1 edit | reply to mntbiker8 2 Mbps tonight... this is getting pretty frustrating. I would call tech support, but no time for the run-around right now... |
|
 | reply to mntbiker8 2-3 Mbps again tonight as well as last night. |

Re: [Speed] [Chicago-North Side] Speed very slow at peak hours 3 again tonight. I'm getting a technician out tomorrow... I'll be pretty surprised if they can actually help.
Edit: Technician came out and found no problems with the lines. He suggested that the neighborhood is just overloaded at peak hours and said he'd file a support ticket. |
