Is anyone is this area of brooklyn seeing or has been upgraded to DSL service that is greater than 3.0/768Mbps?
It's been nearly 10+ years since I've been a vdsl customer. I'm still using the white westell modem, probably the 2nd modem they ever came out with. Yes, it still works.
I've been wanting to upgrade to fios but of course, it hasn't been available for the last 5 years. How can I get my line upgraded to receive anything more than 3.0? I might have to switch ISPs if I have no other options.
I'm not in your area, but in 11218 zip. I currently have 7Mbps down and can get up to 15Mbps, however basing it off my line stats it won't be stable.
You should call them, or check verizon.com site to see if you can upgrade to a better download speed. Best package verizon dsl offers is 15Mbps down/768Kbps up.
Go to 192.168.1.1 to see your line stats. Post your trans stats and maybe we can help you figure out if you are eligible for better speeds.
