[Cable] Teksavvy cable for cogecoland

Hello,

I am currently on Teksavvy's 25mbps dsl connection and I am planning on signing up for their cable service which is now available in Oakville, Ontario (Cogeco land).

Just wondering if anyone has signed up and has the service up and running? If so, how is it so far?

Also, a question for Teksavvy, I currently have no cable outlets in my home but their is a cable line in the basement. No drilling is required (as the holes already there from previous tenants), just 50-100 ft coax cable. If i sign up would the technician from tek provide the cable and hook it up to the basement cable line?

thanks

For cable, its going to be a Cogeco tech there (contracted out more than likely)...

First they'd check to make sure that outlet was sufficient for service...if not , a new line will have to be rerun...and the good news, you can have it run to where-ever you want...

I would call Teksavvy and double-check cable availability in Oakville. As far as i know, cable in Cogeco territories is only available in the Chatham area, so this is most likely an error with their database.

We are only beta testing. Subcription to the service is not available to the public. If you were able to qualify, it could of been an issue with our qualification page.

At this time, we do not serve Cable in Oakville.

Thanks for the info.
Any idea when it will be available to the public? A rough estimate

In all honesty, we have no clue... But keep your spirits up... it's good news to be beta testing outside the Chatham footprint.

Do you need any (more?) cable beta testers in Windsor, ON?
