What if this product surpasses its predecessors. If it does such a good job repelling water that water won't have a chance to stick to the coils?
I hear you on the longevity issue as well. Believe they address that as well discussing abrasion vs the coating, interior vs exterior application, etc. |

Ask anyone who lives in the north who uses Rain-X if they still have to scrape frost on their windows. If the coils are cold enough, there's a chance that the droplets will still freeze, regardless if they are "sticking" to the coils. And once that starts, the accumulated ice will just grow and grow. |
