Re: Filed CCTS and BBB complaints re: unlocking What kind of phone do you have? Practically any phone with the exception of the iPhone can be unlocked through a 3rd party for much cheaper. In addition, 3rd party unlocking solutions are exactly the same as what Rogers will provide to you so there is no risk in damaging the device or voiding the warranty.
Also, having skimmed through the draft CRTC code, it looks like its really only trying to make wireless contracts more transparent, it doesn't look like it can regulate the fees that carriers can charge. |
