| [TWC] TWC Outage in UWS NYC; Just switched to Wideband 30/5 I called TimeWarner to convert El Paquetazo (TV en Espanol via CableCard plus basic internet (1.5M/500k) for $66) to 30/5 Wideband for $64.99.
After getting off the phone, I noticed that TV and internet are down in all forms. The modem doesn't even register that its connected to a cable lead.
Apparently the whole area is down for all TWC services. Hope it's fixed soon. |

| Did you purchase your own modem? The TWC modem which would have been furnished with basic internet is not Docsis 3 & inadequate for Wideband 30/5. |

| Of course!  But thanks for asking: I have a SB6120. I am disappointed to learn the SB6141 is way better. But I'll have to do more research before purchasing.
I think I might start to use the modem as a DHCP server for all of my clients instead of my WNDR3700. But then I probably couldn't do IP address reservation, which is important to me. |
