Calling for somewhere in the 6" range (10-15 cm), more if we get into the lake-flakes.

| The stuff hitting now isn't even the main part of the storm. It looks like it's lake-based.
Either way, down here no one can agree. Canadians are saying we're only going to get 10cm of snow with a lot of freezing rain before. Americans are saying the freezing rain will remain south and we're going to get 10-14" (25-35cm) here in the "Buffalo area."
I'm hedging my bets on the Americans, but anything is possible. If the Canadians are wrong, there are going to be a lot of pissed off people in Niagara Falls who have a newspaper telling them that they will miss the worst of the storm and that they are only going to end up with 10cm of snow (a newspaper also ignoring, of course, all the freezing rain that in of itself could make things even worse) |
