 | If this is the calibre of people allegedly representing business interests in Canada, we may as well just hand the keys to the country over to the Chinese right now. |

Chinese knew it was illegal and don't/won't admit to doing it if they did.
Sony USA on the other hand, did it on purpose, and announced it. |

Re: [Serious] "Spyware Rootkits are OK!" says Canadian Oh HELL No!
Then again, according to some of the comments in the Techdirt article this would mean that since I own copyright on a few MP3's myself, I'd LEGALLY be able to install rootkits and snoop thru all the corporate files on company servers looking for DMCA violations!!! Win Win!!!
I seriously doubt even Harper's robots are stupid enough to pass this into law. |

Too late, Harper is already on the Chinese government payroll - espionage. This country is an international embarrassement. |

 | lol exaggerate much?
Combine China paranoia + "OMG Harper eats babies" silliness = Harper's on on Chinese payroll... funny stuff.
Has anyone actually found a back door in Huawei's electronics? |

| While I'm not a big fan of the Harper regime, I have to admit that they are making an excellent long-term move by increasing the level of trade with alternative markets. We can't rely on trade with a failed economy or we'll go down with'em. By diversifying, it's gonna be easier for us to weather whatever's gonna befall our next door neighbors. The fiberals paid diversification lip service and went about it the wrong way. Under the Cons, we have bumped up our levels both ways. -- If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas. George Bernard Shaw |
