Re: The 4 most likely reasons you were hacked Well, that's true, but in my case, the people in question have a source besides me (and who lives a bit closer) who will fix problems for them, even reformat and reinstall if necessary. So there's no incentive to learn at all. I just get "I don't have time for that" or "I don't care". 
However, they've yet to be stung by stolen identity/CC numbers, etc. Maybe that would light a fire, I don't know.
