Utica, MI | i have 12 MB ram, computer only uses 6???I have 6 sticks of ram on my mobo but my computer only uses 3. How can i fix this? there must be something I can do. google is coming up empty.

Are they the same exact sticks? The P6T will outright refuse to recognize the second set of sticks if they're not all identical. |

Start removing ram to see which ones are not being recognized. Once you know the ones not being recognized (probably a set of ram slots) move ones that are recognized to a slot. See if the PC sees the same amount. If not - there is something wrong with the slots or mobo.

wow! ok im mistaken. its 6 GB that i have... i have 3 sticks of memory and the pc is recognizing them all. I ordered the PC thinking it had 12GB... thanks for your replies guys :0)
