Grandfathered Plan, Removing third line

Another Grandfathered plan question.

I have the Verizon 700 minutes shared plan with 3 phones.
Primary is my Smart phone, secondary is a "dumb" phone and third is another smart phone.

The primary phone is still under contract for 4 months. The second and third have expired contracts.

Can I drop the third smartphone line with out triggering a ma$$ive change on lines 1 and 2 to the new "$hare everything" plan? I would keep the second "dumb phone" and the primary smartphone.

Anyone have first hand experience with executing this maneuver?

if the third line is out of contract simply call in and disconnect it. doesnt change your plan at all, just your bill
