Log entries from 2007 are an artifact of reboots. Those log entries are created before the system time in the router is set and therefore default to a fixed time. It is not a failure to clean up the log.

oh there are some 27 pages of entries that never clear, and, there is no "clear log" pushbutton. Sorry I did not go into intimate detail.
