anon posted : Well, yesterday was the last straw.

Backstory: A few months ago I contacted Rogers to indicate that I found a competing offer with a higher download cap (350GB) and a 25Mbit speed for less than half what I was paying.

Rogers wanted to keep my business so they offered to give me the same speed and download limit for the same price. I was satisfied with that, and was happy that they would match the same service.

Fast forward to yesterday, and I find that i'm on a 12Mbit download speed plan. Contacted Rogers and they say that they can't give me the 25MBit speed I was promised, because i'm on a low tier express package.

Had enough of the run around with these guys. The frequent down-time with their DNS and cable service overall, plus the run around and over charging. Then, lying to me and not providing the service I was promised.

Goodbye Rogers. I was one of the first customers in my area to get High Speed Cable Service over 15 years ago. No longer.

Won't be coming back.
