Woodland Hills, CA | Simonics GV Gateway offline for maintenance Just noticed my Simonics GV service is showing in my Asterisk as "UNREACHABLE".
Checking out their web page, I see this notification in small print at the bottom of the page:

Google Voice Gateways gvgw1 and gvgw2, and Fax by E-mail will be offline for maint. Saturday Feb 9, 8pm-12a EST. Faxes sent will be queued.

| Our host is taking their whole datacenter offline for this maintenance. Fortunately, it's the lowest usage time for the gateways, statistically. Sorry for the inconvenience it's causing you, though. That notice at the bottom of the home page is also posted on the blog and Twitter (from which that footer line is fed).
Should be up and running again within the hour. |
