The telnet program won't work anymore unless you are running older firmware. Bell disabled the page that allowed the posting of the config to the modem. The port stays open if you update but if you factory reset the modem you will loose the ability to telnet. I found that you can stop your modem from being updated by using test@test in the internet section, but if you have IPTV, I'm not sure if this will effect the service. |
