what kind of modem do you use and how much do you pay for your service? I'm using the cellpipe 7130 modem and bell told me if i upgrade to 50/10 package and i need to exchange for connection hub modem. is cellpipe 7130 can't handle for 50/10? |

I have the sagemcom 2864. That is the connection hub, it is required for Fibe TV as well.
What I am paying is anyone's guess. 82.95 is the price on the website. Some people are saying if you have 3 services the price will be 49.95 but I am not convinced of that. Although that is the deal for FTTH 50/50 so that would only be fair.
I won't really know until I at least my next bill, but maybe not until the one after since Bell billing is horrible and the CSR's are generally clueless. |

Its 49.99 IF you have 3 services and IF you are a new customer.
I tried getting it for the 49.99 as I signed up 2 weeks before 50/10 was offered on FTTN, and they flat out said no. They did however give me the unlimited bandwidth as compensation for not being able to help me. |

That is my understanding as well however, the ongoing price for FTTH 50/50 is 49.95 for customers with 3 services. You'd think FTTN 50/10 would be the same deal. |
