Macbook Pro retina image retention, all retina displays?

I have been through about 7 new 15" rMBP's, all returned with LG panels and image rentention after 5 miniutes of a static window(no luck with the samsung lottery and store manager acknowledged RIPLEY, but refuses to use it to find a rMBP with a samsung panel) . Does this issue plague ALLretina devices the 13 rMBP, retina iPads, etc?

I really dont want to sit out this generation of rMBP's, but they are forcing me to npt spend 3k with them. Any advice or info would be very helpfull. I would perfer not to have to buy the non retina models.

Thanks,
Jet

You may have lucked out and won the Samsung display lottery! Every LG including all display models I have looked at has the retention issue. Try this terminal command to find the display maker, LP=LG.
ioreg -lw0 | grep \"EDID\" | sed "/[^]*/s///" | xxd -p -r | strings -6

I had my 15" retina MBP display replaced with a Samsung screen after image retention problems on the LG screen. I believe all replacements are Samsung.
