They do not even shut off when the car is cranking to start. They are always at full brightness, not at a DRL level. Having the key in any other position (Off, Lock, Acc) and the lights are off.<br><small>--<br>Gun control is being able to hit your target.</small>]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[BK3 posted : I picked up a '99 Bonneville, and have repaired the engine so it no longer causes the MIL to light. However, there is an issue with the lights that has me stumped at the moment. <br>Here's the deal:<br><br>Anytime the ignition key is in the "ON" position, all the outside lights come on. This happen regardless of the time of day, the position of the "Twilight Sentinel" control, or where the transmission is set. If the key is off, the headlights operate normally with the headlight switch on the dash.<br><br>Brake lights operate normally. as do the interior lights and turn signals.<br><small>--<br>Gun control is being able to hit your target.</small>]]></description>
