Rumors are rumors. Until Apple announces something, no one can possibly know what they'll do...although the company does seem to have a pretty consistent track record of product releases so you might be able to extrapolate future offerings. The new model might be an upgrade...or a it could be cheaply model for the less wealthy international markets (foreign telcos don't subsidize the purchase like they do in the US so $600 iPhones are out of the reach of those making $600/month)
Apple is very secretarive so no one really knows for sure.
Well, I will hold off to see what looks like will occur on or around June. One other question for those that use an iPhone now. Is the Google Maps the same one that can be found on the Android phones? That is, the one with turn by turn directions?
