Cross Platform is a great idea but can it actually be functional in practice?

As the method of game control varies, but the game play is similar, you'd think it wouldn't be that hard to do.

I know DC Universe is on the PC and console. But they "cheated" and have two separate "servers".

I guess to keep the code easy to follow and so one system doesn't have an "edge" over the other.

That maybe what Trion should have done.
