| Cable can sometime be a hit or miss, depending on a number of factors, including the size and density of the population in the are you're in. From my experience, with the exception of London and Toronto (416 area, not 905), there have been very few problems.
Of the problems that have come up on the other hand (such as the most recent ones in London), it is my understanding that they were the result of unforeseeable circumstances that there would have been no way of preventing. From my experience on the cable plateau, it seems to have proven to be quite reliable. I've only ever experienced an outage of maybe 5 minutes over the course of the last 2 years. |
