Rogers to Start - Retention offer tempting

Current Service: 25/2 - 300GB - roughly $80 a month
Start.ca offer: 45/4 - 350GB - roughly $73 a month

Rogers Retention offer: 150/10 - 250GB roughly $81 a month

I don't want to lose that 50GB a month but I think that's a pretty sweet deal for the 150/10 from Rogers... Suggestions anyone? Do you think Rogers will eventually increase caps due to Bell changes?

i dont use a crazy amount of bandwidth so i would take the 150/10 but if u use lots of bandwidth go with 45/4

How long is that $81/month last for, and how long is the contract? Usually the lesser amount will not span the entire length of the contract, and you'd be stuck paying $123/month plus the modem rental for the rest of the term of the contract.

Retention deals often do run the full length of the contract.

Do you REALLY need the 150/10? You have now 25/2 ... Start gives you 45/4 (so almost double speed + 50 more GB at 12% less price) with no gimmicks ...

For me is clear

Plus you avoid Rogers billing errors I would say Start has far more better customer service than Rogers...

The speed is interesting... if you actually need it. But eventually the retention deal will end, and you will have to beg for more. That's something that really annoyed me.
