AVD posted : If you have CWM, download the rom file, boot into recovery, do a wipe/factory reset flash the new image, and clear cache and dalvick.

My main reason for upgrading, is that hopefully battery usage is better...if I leave my tablet on and booted into Android (even asleep), it's dead within 10-12 hrs.

New versions can be quickly uploaded and if there is a problem, easy to go backwards. Have had a few issues with Google stuff but all solved at moment. I cannot speak to what may be missing as I basically use it for web and mail but am very happy with my "investment" long ago. Dolphin browser is great.
