| Onan generator runs at idel ONLY I have an Onan model 45.0EM It has set for years. I changed from Natural Gas to Propane. Unit will not get above an idel. Any suggestions? |

Probably a carburetor problem and or the governor is out of the loop. |

Troubleshooting will begin by manually moving the throttle while the engine is running, to see if the governor is holding it wide open and the fuel system is limiting engine speed, or if the governor is malfunctioning and not regulating at the correct speed. |

Onan is up and running. Problem was lack of propane volume. Ran larger line and runs great. Thanks. |
