Even when you factor in all of the donations from all qualified platforms (text, calls, Tweets), while it may add up into the millions, it's still much less than the cost of a national campaign.
And will we ever find out how much money each charity will have actually received? Or is all that locked behind non-disclosure agreements?
No, it's not locked behind any agreements. Bell will get millions in free publicity for money they had
already earmarked for a charitable donation. This is just stupid brand marketing, nothing more. And it does
absolutely nothing for front line mental health services, which are funded by the provincial government. Front line mental health gets zero dollars out of this. Bell gets millions.
