Referral Process

I have a friend that is going to sign up for Teksavvy soon. What is the referral process? I have done a search, and they say that I need to call in and speak to accounting?

Just let you friend have our CID. When he calls, tell him to mention that they were referred to us by you, CID XXXXX.

That's it.

Martin

Hi Poser,

To answer your question, referrals only apply to high speed internet service. A referral may be added on at any time although we prefer this info be taken on the new order. Your friend will be asked how he heard about us which at that point he can mention you . He will need to provide your CID number when he signs up.

Hopefully this helps.

Cheers,

Is there still a monthly discount for referring someone? I gave a friend my CID as I referred him over and I've not received a discount on that.

It could be 2 things. Either he didn't give it when asked, or we forgot to add. Only way to find out is if he provides us with his account info & we double check.

He says he did provide it, I think he signed up online. I'll PM Jonathan my details and see if he can help me. Seems like he needs it.

I suspect when ordering online the referrals aren't applied? My case is similar in that the people I referred ordered online and inputted my CID, but I didn't get the discount. I was told after that I need to ask the new customer to call in with my CID...

Haven't gotten around to asking them to do so yet, too busy...

When ordering online, the order processor has to enter it manually into the system. It could have been overlooked hence why it wasn't applied. If you want to send me a PM with your account info, I will be more then happy to fix it for you.

RE: @TypeS

By the way, 9gag is the thief of the Internets.

Here is how the original image looks like with its makers signature.
»mikedkelly.tumblr.com/post/18826129849

Notice how they covered up the original markings. They pay people to steal content under the guise of 'we are not responsible for our users uploads'.

Its one thing to copy content, but to remove the makers marks and then use it to make your site more 'popular' , then thats not nice.
There are sites that scrape content from forums. Then make the threads into question and answer format and change the posters names and a 3 day old site has millions of bits of instant content.

This message brought to you by honor and courage.
