Notice how they covered up the original markings. They pay people to steal content under the guise of 'we are not responsible for our users uploads'.

Its one thing to copy content, but to remove the makers marks and then use it to make your site more 'popular' , then thats not nice.
There are sites that scrape content from forums. Then make the threads into question and answer format and change the posters names and a 3 day old site has millions of bits of instant content.

To answer your question, referrals only apply to high speed internet service. A referral may be added on at any time although we prefer this info be taken on the new order. Your friend will be asked how he heard about us which at that point he can mention you :). He will need to provide your CID number when he signs up.
