| reply to backdrop001 You need to set up each device for a reserved IP address first.
Then pick the ones that you want to set up a QoS rule for. So one would be the Gaming device. Make a rule for this device first. Then make a rule for all other devices.
Follow the sticky on the examples to set it up.
Also, who is your ISP service and what is the make and model of the ISP modem? |

 | reserved ip address? ok i'll see if i can find that on my router.
I'm using comcast and the modem is a ubee 3.0 |

| reply to backdrop001 Give a name for the rule. Local IP Address range FROM box input the IP address of the reserved device. Local IP Address range TO box input the same IP address of the reserved device. Priority set to 50. Protocol set to Any. Local port FROM box input 0 Local port TO box input 65535 Remote IP address FROM and TO box should be already filled in
Create another rule using a different name. Do the same thing as above and this time use the IP address you reserved for the iPad. Set a priority to 128. Everything else use the same as mentioned above. Ensure the check marks are selected next to each rule row, save settings and let the router reboot. |
