Re: #BellLetsTalk Initiative Here's Your Chance to cost BHell Sorry, but this will NOT cost Bell anything at all. It can only benefit them through free publicity, brand reinforcement and charitable tax incentives. -- Watch my future television channel's public test broadcast! »thecanadianpublic.com/live |

 | I'd beg to differ there. If enough people were to tweet, re-tweet, etc, it could actually cost Hell Telecom. That being said though, they probably know their market quite well to be able to predict for such things. As for the publicity aspect of it on the other hand, there isn't enough free publicity that Hell Telecom could possibly get to make enough people want to go with them... There just isn't |

Fifty thousand dollars.
Now calculate that against all of the free publicity they've received via every possible media outlet including the news.
Even when you factor in all of the donations from all qualified platforms (text, calls, Tweets), while it may add up into the millions, it's still much less than the cost of a national campaign.
And will we ever find out how much money each charity will have actually received? Or is all that locked behind non-disclosure agreements? -- Watch my future television channel's public test broadcast! »thecanadianpublic.com/live |

Bell will get millions in free publicity for money they had already earmarked for a charitable donation. This is just stupid brand marketing, nothing more. And it does absolutely nothing for front line mental health services, which are funded by the provincial government. Front line mental health gets zero dollars out of this. Bell gets millions. -- Need-based health care not greed-based health care. |
