[CA] Sudden slow download/uploads speeds

Spoke with tech support trying to figure out why my internet suddenly slowed to a crawl around 7 PM tonight connected through the router and directly to the modem. Tech support couldn't figure out what the cause of my problems were and weirdly enough, they also said that they couldn't see my modem in their system either.

I'm using:
Motorola SB 6120 on Firmware SB612X-1.0.5.1-SCM00-NOSH
D-Link DIR-655 Wireless Router
Premier Tier

if they cant see your modem that would tell me either some packet loss going on or an outage

Yeah. I asked if there was an outage and they said there weren't any in my area. Of course, I've asked that before when there's been an outage and been told there wasn't one which could be the case here again.

Hmmm... So I guess the issue worked itself out and it looks like some upgrades are going on in San Diego. I now get 20mbps upload on Premier.

Sick! Where are you located? A tech told me Cox invested 20mil for upgrades in San Diego...

I'm in Normal Heights. I was a little surprised when I did the speedtest today. I had to repeat it about 20 times just to be sure... Lol
