| Comcast sends out a lot of crap too In my neighborhood Comcast sends out a lot of junkmail, I get something every week. My small town is surrounded by three cities that have municipal fiber ISPs and even though there is no active initiative to bring fiber to my town I wonder if Comcast is working proactively to fend it off, even though their deals suck. Centurylink has a crap product (1.5 Mbps) and they know it, they don't send out nearly as much garbage. There are 3 WISPs in my town that I know of, Digis is the only one that kind of advertises. Rapidwave and Miles Wiresless don't. I went with Miles, they have a solid product with no caps or ticky tack fees. Plus I know the owner-operator. He's a stand up guy. |
