1 edit | [TiVo] TiVo programming issues/Season Pass Manager New York When creating a season pass, and even when you set up the priority list, the TiVo does not properly set the timers. This is my one frustration with the TiVo that the Motorola box seemed to handle a lot better. Time shifting is one of the, if not THE selling point, and it should be perfect. So lets say I have two series recordings set for Monday at 8:00 PM; How I Met Your Mother and Continuum. A third show is on and I set a manual record; on the Moto box it would ask you which of the other two you want to cancel, the TiVo just says it won't record the lesser priority show. So you hit "OK" and you'd think it would just record a later episode of Continuum, but it doesn't and you have to set a manual record. Now, here is where it gets really odd; sometimes it DOES record a later show, sometimes it doesn't. Walking Dead? Shameless? Yeah, it will record it at another time. But Love It or List It? Nope...
So is it a channel thing? As I said on the TiVo this kind of thing shouldn't be an issue... |
