| Same Here My parents (retired) have been absolutely inundated with uVerse marketing material once uVerse was rolled out in their area. Fortunately the door knockers seem to have gone away, but the mail bombs continue.
They are perfectly happy with the 3.0mpbs DSL line they get over AT&T DSL, and aren't interested in TV. They also don't see the point to switching to an unregulated phone service where prices can be raised at will. uVerse internet/phone prices aren't any better than what they pay right now.
I fully expect ATT will dump their wireline DSL subscribers at some point or force conversion to uVerse, but until that they things will stay just the way they are. |
