ABRPremium join:2001-07-31 | Xbox 360, Turtle Beach X31 and TV w/ digital output only My son has had a pair of TB X31's for awhile now. His mother recently bought him a new RCA 39" TV that only has the one digital output connection (coax). He said he's unable to hear the game when not connected to a TV audio output so I'm wondering if theres a way to connect the red/white cables from the X31 to the digital output on the TV? Looking for the cheapest solution.
Thanks in advance David -- Never give anyone what you're not willing to receive yourself. |

 | How is the xbox connected to the tv?
If the xbox is connected to the tv through HDMI, there is an adapter which plugs into the port on the xbox which is usually for the component and standard a/v plugs. This adapter then has the red/white ports that you can plug the headset into.
If that's not the case, someone else will have to chime in lol. -- Slydermv--In short.. hookers save lives.

ABRPremium join:2001-07-31 | Oops...sorry. Yes, the 360 is connected via HDMI. He said something about not being able to hear the game because of the HDMI. I'm a PS3 guy so I don't know much about the xbox. Any/all suggestions are greatly appreciated. -- Never give anyone what you're not willing to receive yourself. |

 | reply to ABR Instead of using HDMI, use component out of the xbox and run the audio into the x31's input. that's how i got mine set up. -- Praise the Gods, Do Good, Act Bravely.
