Westerly, RI | Xbox 360 problems with FiOS Been googling all over the place, searching this forum, and verizon and microsoft technical support are pointing fingers at each other...
I have recently gotten FiOS when I moved into Rhode Island, I had Comcast in the past. Now on FiOS, xbox live will disconnect after 5-10 minutes. I had no problems before on Comcast.
I have the actiontec MI-424-WR rev E modem/router on FiOS coming from a coax connection in the wall. The 360 is hard wired with CAT6 from the actiontec. I made sure all the correct ports are open on the modem cooresponding to xbox live. I had even tried bridging the modem to my old router that I had used with comcast to see if that might help. No luck.
I have no problems on any of my other devices, and am clueless to what the problem may be. Does anybody have any ideas?
