Re: flat tire (a head scratcher)

Easy. There is a leak.

Anyone who works on tires should be able to find it.

Diagnosis via the internet is lololol.

Agree, and the OP can use a $4 buck kiddie pool to find it, just fill with enough water to submerge half or all of the tire after removed from vehicle and place the tire in the water, rotate it around slowly until the bubble trail is found.

Every shop I worked at had at least a half moon tire dunker for finding tire leaks. However it is more than $4 bucks.

Spray bottle with soapy water can be easier to use.

Just curious but does it take a "special" person to find the bubbles? And yes I know there's bubbles when you spray the soap on the tire, but let's face it, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to find the bubbles that are getting bigger.

Not everyone is mechanically inclined. I have seen several tires over the years that the owners tried to find a leak with soapy spray and couldn't.

I was thinking that, I know that is one of the ways plumbers check for leaks when pressure testing gas lines.
