| [Outlook] Help with advanced searching I use Outlook at work (not sure of the version, it's a Generic Outlook Shell made for my company, but if I had to guess, it's probably 2011). My home computer is OS X and recently (Mountain Lion) they revamped Mail to include search tokens »www.maclife.com/article/howtos/h···ion_mail Simply put, you can search for individual attributes, so that instead of searching john paul jones and finding each item that contains all of these terms anywhere in the message... *when you type john you can select items that are either To or From john *when you type paul you can select items that contain paul in the Subject line *when you type jones, you can select items with jones in the Body of the message, etc. I've become used to it and really like it. In nearly every other aspect, Outlook is vastly superior to OS X Mail, so I thought I'd ask if this searching capability exists in Outlook. If so, where? Thanks! |
