| credit card info letter Does comcast send out letters when your credit card is about to expire asking for credit information? My card on file expires next month, I've updated it online already, but got a very basic letter with a comcast header that says fill out the info below and send it to pittsburgh... credit card number, name address phone number, CV2 number, exp date, etc etc..... never got one of these before, and the letter looks so badly done like some cheap made in word with bad type setting techniques.... all in black on very cheap paper.... not your standard comcast letter.... |

I'm sure others here will be able to give you even more advice as to how to deal with the potential scam. |

Sounds like a phish.
does it begin with "Dear valued comcast customer" or does it address you by name? -- Despises any post with strings. |

Getting an account number is fairly easy, I wouldn't use that as your proof of legitimacy. |

 | reply to neufuse call comcast and tell them you received the letter. They should tell you if it is fake or not and will handle it from there. |

 | reply to neufuse Very fishy, asking for all that info. I usually get an email, for instance Netflix, just asking me to sign into my account and update expiration date. Nothing else. It was all provided first time I set up an account, regardless of which service. |

 | reply to neufuse comcast claims its real *scratches head* it's a very shady looking letter.. why can't I just change this info online? they told me I had to send it in to update my expiration date on my card ... so dumb |
