Omak, WA | laptop with 2 wifi adapters. I have a laptop with 2 wifi adapters, 1 is the built in one, the other is a usb adapter. The usb adapter is connected to my DSL on wifi. I want to enable the built in adapter, and have it connect to my other router, which is then connected to cable internet. But I do not want the laptop accessing the internet via the cable connection, only the DSL connection using the USB adapter. The reason for the 2nd adapter being enabled is so I can share files off of that laptop with the rest of my network, which is connected to my wireless router which is on cable internet.
Any suggestions? lol |

| Easiest thing to do would be to configure the built-in adapter w/ a static IP but no gateway (iow, don't use DHCP). If an adapter has no defined gateway, it can't be used for internet access! |
