Reading the entire article, I found that the statistics were most interesting. •Only 7.7 percent of malware interacted with the system registry—circumventing many behavioral detection systems and antivirus solutions. I do understand the difficulty of companies not being able to keep up, but this stat is even worse than I would have though.
