You all seem to be implying that teksavvy has an equivalent to 150/10... where is it? I have not seen it? Rogers has a faster service, and that is all a lot of us care about, please stop bitching about them. people know and it is just ruining these forms.

I'm confused as to why there is so much hate in this form, especially from people who don't even have rogers. We get it, all you care about is money... but for thous of us who need the fastest internet, rogers is where we will be staying, people who say that teksavvy's 25/2 or whatever they have is even remotely comparable to rogers' 150/10 clearly doesn't run any servers. The Bell form doesn't receive anywhere near this much hate and they do crazy shit, like limit you to one PPPOE session per account and pretty much base every non sales team in India.

A thread over in the Telsavvy forum says guys are getting mail from Rogers advertising a new 35/3 200GB package for $45/month 8 year price guarantee w/free modem. Similar to the recent 45/4 promo.

Anybody know anything about it and whether it's for new customers only like the 45/4 thing was?

So I'd say you should speak with a retention rep and check out what there are giving out before you jump the gun.

FWIW, I called and ordered Rogers cable tv last week. I also asked about internet, thinking just have them both with Rogers and get one bill. The CSR would not budge on the usage. At all. Not even 1 GB. The offer was 150. I said I needed 300. CSR said $30 for unlimited. I said I was ordering TV, I just need 300 and I'll order internet too. CSR said $30 for unlimited. The extra 150GB I was asking for would have cost them $3 a month, which I would have been happy to pay for.

Yea, It's about time somebody filed a complaint with the Advertising Standards Council. Maybe they'll slap Rogers with another 10 million $$$ fine for lying their ass off AGAIN. Look good on the thieves.

It doesn't say that anywhere on their site though. It says "Now you can add unlimited internet to any package too!" and lists two options: $10 with cable/internet/phone bundle or $30 for the service alone.

They even call out that their internet speeds are up to 150Mbps, implying the deal applies to that tier as well.

Has anyone successfully adding the $10 unlimited special to the old 75Mbps Ultimate plan? That's what I'm currently on and Rogers keeps telling me that it's not possible to add it.
