[Cable] No Internet in North York again (Yonge and Finch)

It looks my internet went out again. I'm at the Yonge and Finch. I checked my Rogers cable TV, and the picture is degraded and snowy. On my TekSavvy modem, all lights are off except the Internet light which is flashing green constantly. Anyone else experiencing this?

Yea, almost looks like the same issue that occurred last Thursday night/Friday daytime. At least there's no snowstorm this time and maybe they might fix it faster :S

I wasn't impacted last week. Sounds like a more significant issue today.

I sent an e-mail to TekSavvy support and IMed TSIOutages on this forum. Hopefully they should be investigating by now.

Could you guys post your info in the direct forum please: »TekSavvy Direct
We do have a few calls with RF issues but no Master Tickets open at the moment so for now we need to open individual tickets in order to get a master going.

Thank you,
Keith

We have had a few customers back on after power cycles/resets this morning (via twitter) but I'm not certain on their locations. Definitely couldn't hurt to do so if you haven't already.

Also the outages account here is typically only used to post outages, it is not regularly monitored and as such you are better off posting in direct.

Thanks,
Keith

Thanks Keith, I'll definitely do that in the future. How useful is contacting Tech Support via the TekSavvy website under Contact Us?

tried a power cycle of about 30 minutes, no help. Tried resetting the modem to factory defaults, no help.

We do have a master ticket right now. Some have said the power cycle has worked, other state they haven't come back yet.

So something is happening & we are waiting on an update by Rogers.

It will email the same team that does the Direct Forum here on DSLr. You're better to go to the direct forum as there are always at least 2 people monitoring it from 7am to 11pm.

Yea, I've reset my modem numerous times. Still nothing. Looks like it's Rogers cable related.

My internet came back around 7pm. Seems to be fine now.
