Hi,
I'd be interested in the beta. Stoney Creek Cogeco user here. Let me know what u need  I've been on Tek in the past with DSL however Bell botched that one so was waiting forever for Cogeco to open up with you guys.

| I have had to cancel my beta test due to the recent ruling... I have no idea how it would impact cable...plus my area is rated for the 50meg dsl through bell, hopefully now the tekksavy 25 meg dsl plan is at least reasonable.
Never even got the order completed before canceling. |

I won't lie the thought had crossed my mind.
The change to cable was made because my dsl gets 3.46/680 on a good day (2.7 right now  ), and Bell themselves have indicated my area has no planned upgrades (2.5years after they refused to fix the wire feeding my neighbourhood due to the area being upgraded within 3years -- never happened)
So if I want internet worth paying for I have to go cable.
The issue comes from having a very tight budget
I picked Express 14 (300GB) and figured I'd adjust it as needed.
(drop to 7 if I don't need the speed, bump to unlimited if I found I was getting close to cap)
I've invested in a DOCSIS 3.0 modem so I'm going to need to make this work. |

| Installer was great.. he took one look at the cable running to my house an said no way.. ran a new temp cable an put in a call for them to run a new service to my house later.
He said 'i wouldnt want that connection if it was at my house so i made a call for ya ' |
