Thursday late enough that CNOC can't get headlines in a business day paper if the decision is bad for them. It isn't after market close so as not to affect the price of ROBELLUS stock if it's bad for them. So you can see where I'm heading with this. |

I dunno, I like to think that Cogeco will take a good asskicking when all is said and done. They ALL need a good asskicking. And the lineup starts HERE !

We have only 2 things about which to worry : (1) That things may never get back to normal (2) That they already HAVE !

 | reply to TSI Marc I put on my money on the fact the CRTC will defer their decision till a later date. It would be just like the government you wait with anticipation and they defer it so they don't tick anyone off.
I'll believe it when I see it. |

I'll believe it when I see it. If they're doing a late afternoon release, it's not going to be a defer til some later date. -- Battle.net Tech Support MVP |

 | reply to TSI Marc Not sure why they need a "late" release.
Bell/Rogers/Videotron already got the memo ahead of time - and updated packages to include unlimited. (for a cost)

you answered your own question :P
Nice 2 week window to deal with damage control |

 | reply to Stescotty said by Stescotty:It would be just like the government you wait with anticipation and they defer it so they don't tick anyone off. That would still tick off every 3rd-party ISP who has been waiting for this decision for over a year since the current rates are hurting their economic viability and limiting their ability to offer OTT services. |
|
 | but it will not be considered bad for the TPIAs if it is a retroactive deal where the TPIAs will be getting a refund -- at least by the incumbants and the CRTC as they only care about $$$ not goodwill. |

 | reply to TSI Marc Sorry but I'm late to the party. What is CBB? Can someone point me to some info or give me the 50 words or less version?
Thanks! |
