[Cable] faster but cheaper

Why is "TekSavvy Pro 16" more expensive than the faster "Cable 28"?

IIRC, Pro 16 is on Cogeco lines, while Cable 28 is with Rogers. As the areas covered are different, you can't really choose between the two usually, it depends on where you live. If you input your postal code it should remove the ones that don't apply to you.

Oh, it shouldn't display anything until I put in my postal code.

That's what most providers do. They show you all of their available plans which may or may not change after you put in your postal code.

As for the "Pro" plans, the speeds went up: »[Cable] Cogeco ATPIA migration - done

The current speeds shown apply to people that have DOCSIS 2.0 modems. Anyone with a DOCSIS 3.0 modem will have the increased speeds. In the case of Pro 16, it will become Pro 30 (as in 30 Mb/s).
